Chancellor Academy is a school that serves
|
non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

Work Program at Chancellor Academy
Chancellor Academy offers a Work Program designed to introduce students to the structure and responsibilities inherent in the working world. Students are provided with a number of opportunities to be employed for pay at Chancellor Academy or at other job sites: 
1. In Food Service, they prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to students and staff.
2. In Building Maintenance, they maintain the school’s classrooms and grounds.
3. In Office Skills, they work in a clerical capacity while learning administrative skills and public communication techniques.
4. In Animal Care, they are introduced to fundamental animal care as sanctioned by 4-H, and
5. In other occupational positions, students have opportunities to work in off site mechanic shops, nurseries, landscaping companies, hospitals, and restaurants.
