Chancellor Academy is a school that serves

| non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings. Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

Programs of Chancellor AcademyA student’s specific course of instruction, in Language Arts/Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies/History, Art, Computers-Technology, Physical Education, Health, World Languages, Electives, and Double Specials is based on his or her IEP, New Jersey's Common Core Curriculum Standards, and New Jersey's requirements for High School graduation. In addition, students are required to complete various Chancellor Academy curricular projects that include research papers, math projects, science projects, multimedia presentations, oral presentations, and book reports. Our teaching and counseling staff incorporate Chancellor Academy’s Behavior Management Program into the curriculum with unique individual and group learning experiences.
