Chancellor Academy is a school that serves
|
non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

Point System at Chancellor Academy
The goal of the Chancellor Academy Behavior Management System is to recognize and reinforce positive and appropriate behavior.
Student Responsibility
On a daily basis, each student on Level I and Level II along with those students who have not made Level I will:
1. Carry card to each class and hand it to their teacher.
2. Collect the filled-out card at the end of each class period.
3. Give completed card to core group teacher at end of each day.
Any card which is incomplete can be filled out by a teacher only on the day following the “incomplete day.” Example: Dave has two incomplete spaces on Tuesday’s point card (IB and IIA). He can have these blanks on his card filled in only on Wednesday. If he is absent, he can have the blanks filled in only on the day he returns to school.
**The only exceptions will be if the student or staff in question is not in school the
following day. Exceptions must be approved by the students’ counselor AND core group teacher.
