Chancellor Academy is a school that serves
non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.

Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

From Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 23 North:

  1. Take Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 23 North.
  2. Follow Route 23 North to the Alexander Avenue Exit (this is a right hand exit off of Route 23 North – there is a traffic light there and there will be a Hess gas station on the right) – when you get close to the Hess gas station you will need to get in the right exit lane.
  3. Follow Alexander Avenue (you will cross over Route 23) all the way down to the end. 
  4. Make a right hand turn onto the Newark Pompton Turnpike. 
  5. Go to first light and make a left onto Sunset. 
  6. Take Sunset all the way down to the end (Pequannock High School will be on the left), and make a right onto West Parkway.
  7. Stay on West Parkway, (approximately ¾ of a mile) the school will be on the left. 
  8. You will see a sign for Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and a sign for Chancellor Academy, make a left into the driveway and you will see the school.

From Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 287 North:

  1.  Take Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 287 North

From 287 North or South:

  1. Take Route 287 North or South to Exit 52A, Route 23 South. 
  2. Exit onto Route 23 South and stay in right lane.
  3. Go through the first traffic light and then turn right before the second light at the exit sign, “Newark Pompton Turnpike/Boulevard/West Parkway”.
  4. Follow “West Parkway” to the right and continue through the industrial park to the 4-way stop sign.
  5. Stay straight on West Parkway.
  6. Chancellor Academy will be on your right after the Glens and behind Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
