Chancellor Academy is a school that serves

non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

Computers and Technology at Chancellor Academy
Chancellor Academy maintains a comprehensive computer lab featuring thirteen state of the art computers with the associated hardware, software and high speed internet access needed to provide a secure and effective learning environment. Students obtain the technical expertise to confidently use Microsoft Excel, Word, Publisher, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint, E-mail and word processing. Students obtain the technical expertise to confidently use word processing, spreadsheets, database, desktop publishing, and e-mail programs. They also learn how to effectively use the internet for research. Students are encouraged to use the computer lab, classroom computers and “Alphasmart” word processors to complete academic assignments. |
