Chancellor Academy is a school that serves
|
non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

Chancellor Academy Vocational Education Program Academic Components
The vocational education programs academic components include:
- Basic computer proficiency skills; such as, keyboarding, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), database (Microsoft Access), desktop publishing (Microsoft Publisher), and presentation design (Microsoft Power Point),
- A State Approved Driver’s Education Course that provides 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction.
- Our regular academic program of English / Language Arts Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Electives, and
- Supplementary reading programs for those who require extra instruction in this area: The Guided Reading Program and Starting Over.
