About Chancellor Academy
Chancellor Academy was founded in 1983 by Dr. Richard A. Sheridan as a departmentalized high school for students who are classified as eligible for special services.
Dr. Sheridan retired from Chancellor Academy in December, 2007 and sold Chancellor Academy to:
Christopher Pagano, then Director of Student Services, now Principal/Director,
Kevin McNaught, the Director of Clinical Services, now Director,
Lisa McConagly, then Supervisor of Curriculum and Testing Coordinator, now Teacher and Curriculum and Testing Coordinator,
Robert Molinaro, then Business Administrator, now Business Administrator,
Eduardo Nunez, then Supervisor of Building and Grounds, now Supervisor of Building and Grounds, and
John Syvertsen, then Principal, now Supervisor of Technology and Supervisor of Special Projects.
We implement a student's Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.) including behavior modification and management programs, and we offer the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standard aligned courses and programs that are required for high school graduation in the State of New Jersey.

Chancellor Academy is licensed and monitored by the New Jersey Department of Education and administers the NJASK, HSPA, APA and AHSA with IEP accommodations.
Chancellor Academy is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the College Board to administer the PSAT and SAT with IEP accommodations.
