Chancellor Academy is a school that serves

non-traditional 6th-12th grade students from diverse communities who have been unable to achieve success in reaching their true potential in other educational settings.
Chancellor Academy’s Mission is to ensure students acquire the necessary tools, skills, attitudes, opportunities and experiences to mature emotionally, develop socially, and progress academically according to their level of ability in order to become productive participants at home, at school and in the community.

About Chancellor Academy
Chancellor Academy was founded in 1983 by Dr. Richard A. Sheridan as a departmentalized high school for students who are classified as eligible for special services.
We implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) and offer the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standard courses and programs required for high school graduation in the State of New Jersey.
Chancellor Academy is licensed and monitored by the New Jersey Department of Education and fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Chancellor Academy is approved by the New Jersey Department of Education to administer the NJASK, HSPA, APA and SRA and by the College Board to administer the PSAT and SAT with IEP determined modifications and accommodations.
Chancellor Academy has extensive academic and vocational programs to provide our students with effective transitions to work or to continuing formal education after graduation. |
